The 27th Slovenian Wine Festival is held under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Economy, Tourism, and Sport, Mr. Matjaž Han.
With their long tradition of wine production and continuous progress in the quality of winemaking, Slovenian winemakers maintain a prominent place on the world wine map.
Slovenian winemaking is not only an important economic sector, but also a key part of our high value-added tourism and a promoter of Slovenia as a green and boutique destination.
Sincere thanks to all those who passionately care for the development of our wine story, nurture our noble tradition, successfully navigate the challenges of the present, and triumphantly enter the winemaking of the future.

What is Slovenian Wine Festival?
The mission of the Slovenian Wine Festival is to present Slovenian and foreign wines and spread the culture of wine drinking. Every year, the festival is visited by restaurateurs, managers in restaurants and hotels, businessmen, journalists, traders, owners of wine shops, winegrowers and winemakers, sommeliers, oenologists, members of winegrowers’ and winemakers’ associations, members of wine fraternities and other (wine) associations, knights of wine, wine queens and wine lovers.

After the successful edition of the 26th Slovenian Wine Festival, we are already announcing the 2025 edition, which will take place on 13th and 14th of November 2025 at Cankarjev dom, Ljubljana, Slovenia. The latest edition gathered 140 participating winemakers and culinarians and attracted more than 3,200 wine lovers. More than 550 different wine samples from all wine-growing regions of Slovenia were presented to the public.
